Our insurance agents can work from our downtown Willmar office, their home, or remotely. A college degree is preferred but not required. Prior experience is not required, but a willingness to learn and a customer service mindset is key. SouthPoint Insurance Agency agents are focused on selling and relationship building, not paperwork or administrative tasks. We have a support staff of CSR’s to help our agents be successful and do what they do best – provide insurance solutions. The pay for insurance agents can be structured as commission, salary, or salary plus commission.

Getting your License to Sell Insurance
Candidates must possess a Producer Insurance License from the State of Minnesota. Licensing involves course work and a state test but can be completed online. Customer Service Reps (Full-time or Part-time)
As our office grows in agents, we are also seeking more Customer Service Reps (CSR’s) to provide administrative assistance and help with making the paperwork efficient for our agents and customers alike. The CSR position is part-time or full-time and based out of our office in downtown Willmar with an hourly wage.
